Began Boxing: I began
boxing while I was in the United States
Marine Corps, stationed in Quantico Virginia.
I always loved the sport, boxed around
the neighborhood with friends, and loved
to fight. I was thinking about doing it
for real, and then a Marine that I worked
with talked to me about it, he use to
box and wanted to get back into it. So
we drove to the Alexandria Boxing Club,
where I met my first trainer “Top”
Honey. Top was a Master Gunnery Sergeant,
and since I was a Marine he did not charge
me. I fought not even 2 months later for
the USA Middleweight Championship, where
I scored a 3rd round KO over Frank Fillipone.
2 months after that I fought for the Golden
Gloves in Arlington Virgina. I won the
Golden Gloves in 2001 scoring a 2nd round
KO over Marcus Keyes.
About Me: I was born
and raised in Baltimore Maryland. I graduated
from Overlea High School in 1998, where
I played baseball, football and wrestled
for the Falcons. I am a United States
Marine Corps Veteran. I quickly made it
to the rank of Sergeant, and served my
country honorably. I am very involved
in my church community (Crossway International
Community Church), were I am the Youth
Leader. I like giving back to the community,
and helping the youth. I try to be the
best person that I can be.
